Busy Sunday
Sunday May 6th Budd Lake Firefighters keep busy running several calls. The day started out with a car accident on Rt. 80 sending one to the hospital. Then one hour later smell of smoke was reported on woodsedge dr. that was unfounded. Later on that afternoon a brush fire was reported behind Stedwick Village Bdl. 95 that Squad 56, Tanker 57 and Engine 59 handled by drafting from a creek in the woods to supply water while crews used tools and a hose line to put out. Then shortly after that a dumpster fire was reported in the Eagle Rock apartment complex that quickly extinguished by Squad 56. Then the night ended with three bad cooks in the extended stay hotel setting off multiple smoke alarms.
