Budd Lake Fights Garage Fire
Saturday afternoon the Budd Lake Fire Department responded to 20 Woodsedge Ave. For smoke coming from a garage. Car 50 Chief Nelson arrived and transmitted a working fire in a one story two car-detached garage. Engine 53 arrived and stretched an inch and three quarter line into the garage and started knocking down the fire as Squad 56's crew used a saw to open the front garage doors for better access. The fire was knocked down in 15 minutes there were no injuries at the scene but the garage and a car inside suffered extensive damage. The fire is under investigation by the Mt.Olive Police and the Township Fire Marshals Office.
