Horse Rescue
Budd Lake Firefighters Rescue Horse Tuesday night around 7:00pm the fire house rang it was the dispatcher saying can you help a resident out they have a horse stuck in a swamp. Assistant Chief Maloney and animal control assistant Nelson responded to the area of 72 Waterloo Rd. And found a horse stuck up to its neck in the mud about 1/8th of a mile in the woods. Chief Maloney called back for help with in 15 minutes 35 firefighters arrived under the command of Chief Nelson and started the 3 hour rescue that ended with the 12 year old pony tired but in good shape.
