Budd Lake Assists Flanders at Apartment Fire
Wednesday afternoon the Budd Lake Fire Co. Responded to assist Flanders Fire Co. At Building 33 in Oakwood Village for the kitchen fire. Squad 56 and Engine 53 along with Chief's 50 and 51 responded on the second alarm, 56 checked other apartments for fire extension while 53 helped with salvage and overhaul operations. The fire was knocked down by Flanders Tower 96 the fire apartment and the adjacent apartment were damaged in the fire. There were no injuries reported at the scene the Red Cross was called to assisted with finding shelter for two families
