Busy Day: MVA and a Truck Leaking Fuel
Budd Lake Firefighters kept busy on Wednesday June 6th around 11:30am by responding to a serious car crash on Rt.46 @ Village Way. Squad 56 and Rescue 77 used the jaws to free a women from her mini van after a tractor trailer hit her from behind sending her into a telephone pole the women was flown to Morristown Hospital by Atlantic Air One helicopter. Just as they were cleaning up a call came in for a fuel truck leaking onto Wolf Rd. Tack 55 and Squad 56 along with help from Flanders Fire Co. Contained a 50 plus gallon fuel spill that threatened the storm drains, the day ended around 4:00pm.
