Mutual Aid into Chester -
Structure Fire
The early morning hours of May
17th brought Budd Lake's Tanker truck and Firefighters along with
several fire companies to Tanners Brook Dr. in Chester Township for
the heavy involved house fire. First due units were faced with heavy
fire and no water supply in the area the Chief quickly called for a
Tender task force as companies laid a five inch supply line up the
street. Flanders tower ladder arrived and set up in the front yard,
as a defensive attack was started by the Chester units. Tenders
started coming in and a steady water source established. Several
companies were on the scene battling the blaze for hours.
