Budd Lake Assists Flanders at Oakwood Village Fire
. Budd Lake Firefighters responded to assist Flanders Fire Company at Building 101 in the Oakwood Village apartments on Monday March 24. Chief 50, 51 and Squad 56 arrived on the scene and went to work. Chief 50 took operations while Squad 56 assisted Tower 96 with checking the attic for extension and searching other apartments in the building. The fire was quickly knocked down but a heavy smoke condition was throughout the apartment and attic. The fire was under control in abought thirty minutes there were no injuries and the fire is under investigation by the Mt. Olive Police and the Fire Marshals's Office.
