November 30th shortly after 9 pm calls came in to the Mount Olive Police desk for a truck fire on Interstate 80 east with poor road conditions from heavy rain units found a GMC Yukon with the engine compartment heavily involved in fire. Engine 59 stretched an inch and three quarter bumper line on the fire as heavy rain came down making for hazardous driving by passing motorists. The fire was put out within 10 minutes and crew left the interstate within a half hour. There were no injuries and State Police reopen the highway in a half hour.
