Late last month Budd Lake Fire responded to a vacant house on Waterloo Valley Rd. for a brush fire with minor extension to the house the utility wires came down and started the fire so firefighters contained the fire until JCP&L could shut the power down and then firefighters finished extinguishing the fire there was no one around at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
