Budd Lake’s Ladder 58 responded as a rapid Intervention Crew.
December 2nd around 2 pm calls came into the Warren County Communications center for a chimney fire on countryside Dr. when units arrived they found fire coming from the chimney area and several windows on the second floor. As crews starting an interior attack a first alarm box was called bring Tri County, Independence, Budd Lake and Washington Bro. fire companies to the scene. The fire was knocked down within a half hour 3 firefighters were injured with minor injuries and transported to the hospital by Hackettstown First Aid. The fire is under investigation by the Hackettstown Police and the Mount Olive Fire Marshal’s Office.
