Monday morning Chief 52 driving down route 46 saw smoke in the distance and radioed into dispatch a car parked a bought 50 feet from the gas pumps was fully involved. Chief 50 and 51 also responded along with Engine 59 and was assisted by the Mount Olive Fire Marshal’s Office had a line on the fire and extinguished within fifteen minutes. There were no injuries and the Mount Olive Police handled the investigation.
