Budd Lake Handles Car Fire In The Snow

Wednesday January 12th as the snow ended the Budd Lake Fire Department responded to Waterloo Valley Rd. for the car fire. Engine 53 with a light crew stretched a line and had the fire knocked down quickly. There were no injuries at the scene

Budd Lake N.J. Morris County: Just before midnight Budd Lake Fire Dept was called to a report of a working Fire. On arrival this house on Evergreen Parkway a small dead end road was well involved. Command requested assistance from Flanders Fire and First Aid, Netcong RIC Team, Long Valley Air Truck to the scene Tenders also assisted due to the lack of hydrants. The converted summer house was under construction and no one was living in at the time when the fire apparently broke out on the front porch. There were no reported injuries and the fire is under investigation. Ice Covered Roads Cause Rollover On Rt. 46 In Budd Lake

After a Tuesday snow and ice storm Budd Lake Firefighters responded to Rt. 46 on the mountain for a rolled over motor vehicle. Mt. Olive Police advised there were no injuries as Squad 56 and Car 51 arrived and stood by as the wrecker up righted the truck.
