BUDD LAKE BATTLES CAR AND GRASS ON RT # 80

Budd Lake N.J. Morris County: Budd Lake Fire Dept was dispatched to a car fire on Rt # 80 west in the area of mile marker 23. Once reroute smoke could be seen from a distance. On arrival the car was well involved and a grass fire started to make a run along the interstate. Flanders Fire Dept and New Jersey Forest Fire Service assisted with the fire.


BUDD LAKE STARTS FEBRUARY WITH A PIN

Budd Lake N.J. Morris County: Three hours into the new month a radio call from a Police Officer on patrol in the lake section of town, reporting a truck into a tree only 20 ft from a pin two months ago. Five feet to the left the truck would have landed in Budd Lake. The passenger was able to free himself the driver was pinned. Budd Lake and Flanders First aid Squad transported to Morristown Medical Center.


Firefighters Make Quick Work Of Dumpster Fire At Budd Lake Motel

Monday morning February 13th crews were dispatched to the parking lot of the Budd Lake Motel for a dumpster fire. Engine 53 used a one inch line and filled the dumpster with water there was no danger to the motel.

Budd Lake Responds To Overturn On Rt. 46

Monday afternoon February 13th Budd lake firefighters respond to the intersection of Rt. 46 and Wolf rd. for the rolled over car. Squad 56 and Rescue 77 removed one driver from the overturned SUV and Hackettstown Hospital EMS transported him to the hospital with minor injuries. The other car sustained damage as well but the driver and passenger were not hurt.
