Mt. Olive Fire Takes The Heat At Transfer Station

Thursday June 21st just after 8 am Budd Lake and Flanders Fire Companies were dispatched to The Morris County Transfer station for a trailer fire. First arriving units arrived and had a trailer loaded with household garbage smoking from the middle of the trailer as they have done many times in the past Tower 96 set up and knocked down the fir from over the top while Squad 56 secured the hydrant and starched a hand line on the pile after the Transfer stations crew emptied the trailer. Netcong Fire was called to assist do to the high temperatures around 90 degrees. All units returned within an hour.
