Budd Lake Firefighters Take Part In The Tunnels To Towers Run

This morning members of the Budd Lake Fire Department took part in the Tunnels to Towers run in full turn out gear. Members in attendance were FF/Engineer Steve Bendo, FF/Engineer Matt Drescher, FF/Engineer Amanda Petrick, FF Bill King, and FF Sean Clemmer. Great Job everyone! The purpose for the run is to Follow in FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller's footsteps on 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues to honor the 343 fallen firefighters, as well as those veterans that have paid the ultimate price in Iraq and Afghanistan

Budd Lake Fire Attends 9-11 Town Memorial

On 9-11-2014 Mt. Olive Township dedicated it new 9-11 memorial located at Turkey Brook Park the Mayor, Council and other dignitaries were on hand to dedicate the new memorial at great addition to the park. The ceremony lasted around a half hour and was attended by Mt. Olive Police, Clergy, Town Officials, Flanders Fire, Budd Lake Fire, Budd Lake and Flanders First Aide. This will be a peacefull place to stop and reflect on the events that changed all our lives.

Transformer Fire Slows Traffic On Rt. 46

Thursday September 25th A fire on a utility pole in front of the Board of Education building caused a slowdown in traffic for at least an hour just before the afternoon rush. Firefighters directed traffic and stood by as J.C.P & L extinguished the fire and reopen all lanes the B.O.E. office was with out power for most of the night.
