Budd Lake Fire Participates In Touch A Truck

Mount Olive Township Recreation Department hosted a touch a truck event at turkey brook park that brought over a thousand people and a lot of excited kids. The fire department had Ladder 58 and the military high-water truck on display the line of kids and adults just to climb on and in the giant cab was amazing the ladder truck was also pretty busy. Flanders Fire also keep busy with photos of kids in the bucket of the tower ladder as well as learning abought fire safety in the fire safety house. A great time was had by all and we look forward to next year.     

Structure Fire On Clinton Ave.

Saturday evening 8/26 Mount Olive Fire companies were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Clinton Ave. in the Budd Lake section of town. Arriving units found an outside fire that was extending up the side of the residence. Engine 53 arrived on scene and made quick work of the fire with extension to the interior of the first and second floor. Engine 95 arrived and supplied water and assisted with man power. As always thank you our mutual aid for their help!

Budd Lake & Flanders Drill In Vacant House

Recently Firefighters from Budd Lake, Flanders & Schooley’s Mt. fire drilled at an abandoned house on the property of the Transfer Station crews drilled on Ladder operations, search and rescue, hose line placement and rescue of down firefighters. The drill lasted 2 hours and it was great practice and all came away with some new skills.
