Lost Truck Driver Snaps Utility Pole

A tractor trailer driver got lost on Sandshore Rd. trying to get back to Rt. 46 ended up trying to turn around on South Hillside Rd. but could not make the tight turn and took down some power lines and crashed into a rock wall and two home owners lawns. The fire department was called to the scene and waited for the power company to shut down the power before the truck could be moved. The driver was not hurt.   

Driver Rolls SUV On Elizabeth Lane

The driver of and SUV lost control of his truck on Elizabeth Lane and Rt. 46 and rolled it on its roof. The driver got himself out and was not badly hurt but transported to a local hospital. The fire department stood by till the truck was removed.  

Firefighters Respond To An Overturned Truck

Budd Lake First Responders were called to Rt. 46 and Love Lane for an overturned truck. As rush hour traffic approached a dump truck exiting of Rt. #80 made a lifesaving decision. A school bus stopped letting children off near the bottom of the ramp only gave the dump truck driver seconds to make the decision to hit the cars behind the bus or cut over a divider and try to make it onto a quite side road. The truck made it to the side road but put the rig on its side. The driver of the truck received no injuries. Budd Lake Fire Brings Santa Around

Saturday December 22nd firefighters brought Santa around town to make sure his list was on target. Kids from all over Budd Lake enjoyed the early visit.
