Firefighters were called to Village Green for a report of smoke coming from a crawl space car 52 arrived and saw smoke and flames from the crawl space window and one apartment and requested a second alarm. Car 50 and Engine 53 arrived and units had to cut a hole in the floor of one apartment to access the crawl space and extinguish the fire. The space and the apartment suffered damage but there were no injuries reported.
